My styled shoots involve hours and hours of planning & coordination, the time and talents of several top-notch and knowledgeable local vendors, and day-of treats and goodies. The group typically has 10-15 other photographers but we split up into 2-3 groups and rotate through different stations (couple, solo bride, details) so we aren't all fighting over the same shot at the same time. All images can be used for your portfolio, social media, and whatever else your heart desires :) Generally speaking, my styled shoots do not include formal educating, but rather a group & community to lean on.
My workshops are my FAVORITE! This is where we really hunker down and get to the root of WHO you are and WHY you do it, and how to make your photography business not only reflect your heart, but also make an impact on the lives of your clients.
We will go over branding, personal marketing and the client experience, finding your why, website & social media critique, editing, workflow, blogging, one-on-one mentoring, shooting for publication, and your ideal client. We will also have 1-2 styled shoots with real models to practice shooting on, hear me talk through shooting, posing, finding light, and styling details.
We will have guest speakers ranging from florists to planners, depending on the workshop, to provide insight on working in the wedding industry from multiple perspectives. Workshops are generally a group of 6-10 photographers. We eat together, learn together, and shoot together!

one-on-one mentoring

A one-hour skype session tailored specifically to your needs. I'll send you a questionnaire prior to our mentoring session to make sure we're covering exactly what you need for the most growth in your business, and leave you with homework to complete afterwards :) We'll follow up in 2-6 weeks, depending on your needs with a half hour check-in.
Since we are a traveling family, we can come to you or arrange for a meeting place! My in-person mentoring sessions include a questionnaire prior, and homework to complete afterwards. We will also schedule a 30 minute Skype follow up, 2-6 weeks after your mentoring.
In addition to our discussion portion, I will also arrange for real-life application where we shoot a family or mini styled shoot together.

real wedding day experience
Join me on the day of a wedding where you can shoot alongside me and watch me in action from shooting details to posing family portraits to working with lighting at the reception. You will also have two Skype or in-person mentoring sessions: one before the wedding day to prep and go over the timeline, and one after the wedding day to review what happened and answer any additional questions you might have.
The opportunities for job-shadowing me on a real wedding day are limited, considering the nature of weddings and real-world experience. If you are interested in this, please send me an email at meghanrosephotography@outlook.com
